Miles Seeley, a specialist on Arab countries, comments on "Muslims in Mexico and Latin America": "My experience dealing
with wealthy Saudi royals over a period of years leads me to guess that Mexicans or any other people wanting some support for
converting locals to Islam, can find it from the Saudis. I wanted to
establish a small prayer room for Moslem patients, and the Saudi Embassy in Washington was more than happy to refer me to
the right people. I got the money, the prayer rugs, and the Korans almost right away".
