CNN and rejoicing Palestinians

The story that CNN had faked the footage showing Palestinian youths dancing at the news of the World Trade Center received thanks to the internet a wide distribution.. Ed Jajko has sent me the key documents. The CNN bureau in Jerusalem angrily rejects the story:

"The allegation is a despicable lie. I can confirm the footage was filmed by a Reuters cameraman on Tuesday September 11th. We have investigated and the writer of the original claim, a Mr Carvalho at a Brazilian University, has admitted to propagating disinformation".

"Propagating", not inventing. He actually said he got the information from his teacher, who refused to give the source. I wonder what the Palestine News Agency says. American Arabs say that in any case only a small crowd of youths was involved; they did not represent the feelings of Palestinians generally."
