MEXICO: Is Marcos a Marxist?

Margaret Mackenzie writes: "The point of Marcos' arguing for indigenous right rather than being directly Marxist is most credible: that was how the Miskito Indians got caught in Nicaragua because Marxism had no conceptual place, let alone trust, of indigenous rights". I agree entirely. Even in the US, politics consists not of appeals to theories, but stress on grievances and promises, promises, promises.
