Questionable qotes attributed to the Koran

Leslie Ribinson talks turkey:
"Osama and Saddam should read up on this Muslim passage... maybe they did...The following verse is from The Quran, 9:11;

"For it is written that a son of Arabia would awaken a fearsome Eagle. The wrath of the Eagle would be felt throughout the lands of Allah and lo, while some of the people trembled in despair still more rejoiced; for the wrath of the Eagle cleansed the lands of Allah; and there was peace."
(Note the verse number, and of course, the eagle is the symbol of the U.S.)

My note: Maybe some people in the Pentagon also read this and got their inspiration from it for our forays in the Middle East. On the other hand, I wonder whether this is a legitimate quote from the Quran. Anybody have a copy of the Koran?

It soonds too good to be true, but Ed Jajko can enlighten us. I suspect that someone is pulling the turkey's leg.
