Speaking of the next Pope, David Pike said: "the winner cannot become the first non-white Pope. There were two non-whites, probably blacks, from North Africa in the late first and early second centuries".
Tim Brown said "I didn't know there were any Blacks in North Africa in the first and second centuries, except possible slaves". RH: Specialists tell me there were, and some of them achieved significant positions. We must look into this further.
