SPAIN: Catalan Nationalism

I pointed out that both Catalan and Basque nationalism were originally clerical. I used to get Christmas cards from the Institut d'Estudis Catalans. I have not received one for some years, so I do not know how the Institute is doing. I believe the Institute was suppressed during the Franco period and that the cards were sent by an exile group. Going through my papers, I came across the Christmas card for 1979. It marked the tenth anniversary of the death of Higini AnglÚs, a member of the Institute and president of the Pontifical Institute of Sacred Music. Born in Maspujols in 1888, he died in Rome in 1969. His photograph is that of a kind old cleric. I suppose he was in Rome during the Civil War. Is there a book on the Church and the clergy during the Spanish Civil War?
