SPAIN: Under Franco and today

Christopher Jones sent a long and angry defense of Franco. George Sassoon comments: "I don't know much about Spain and have only been there 3 - 4 times and was robbed twice. Of the people I know who go there, none has escaped the attentions of muggers and pickpockets. Surely it wasn't like this in Franco's time?"

RH: No. Incidentally, I hope that George's bagpipes were not stolen.
