US: The London visit of President Bush; 'Shoot-to-kill' demand by U.S.

The UK is OK now that George Sassoon has returned!

After all the grim stories about the Bush visit, his message is reassuring:

"My information is that the visit was organised about two years ago when everything was going swimmingly in Iraq, the arrangements were made, the hardware (mini-guns excepted) is all in place, and the loss of face all round would be too great to call it off now. I am steering well clear of London next week!

There is also the question of the sniffer dogs being brought over. Are they to undergo a six-month rabies quarantine? If so, a bit late to be useful".

I am concerned that the reports I have read make no mention of George's bagpipes. I understand that they are very effective against rabies and terrorists.
