Hank Greely writes: " I continue to be interested in the Liberty issue, which really does look to me like an intentional Israeli attack and an American coverup. But I still don't see a plausible motive;
Why would Israel order a deadly attack on a ship of its main ally in the middle of the Six Days War? Presumably, the motive could be that they didn't want the Liberty's intelligence capacity to detect something, but what would have been worth taking that risk? I say this not as evidence against the intentional attack thesis, which I find quite strong, but out of genuine curiosity".
I invite Ed Jajko to respond to this.
