Is America's Afghan War in Trouble?...Ramadan

Alvin Rubinstein of the Foreign Policy Research Institute asks "Is America's Afghan War in Trouble?" By America's war he means that, except for Great Britain, the alliance is weak. America's top leaders rush around the world to get promises of support. Those they get are pretty hollow. America cannot count on them. Equally dangerous is talk of stopping the war during the holy month of Ramadan. He says that bin Laden and the terrorists cannot be considered Muslims any more than Hitler can be a Christian. Other commentators have listed wars among Muslim states which went on through Ramadan.
