The Bombing of the Chinese Embassy in Belgrade
The CIA is being blamed for providing the NATO planners with outdated maps. I donīt think NATO would say this unless it is true. Ron Bracewell says:
Uncle Sam may not have deliberately targeted the Chinese Embassy, but someone targeted its street address. At the various levels of approval of the target list, the list would have been a collection of organizations, not street addresses. Consequently, the distributed approvals don't really mean shared responsibility. He/she who gave the coordinates is identifiable but will this info be revealed for us to judge whether the act was deliberate?
My comment: I hope the CIA story is true. If not, it would reveal an intolerable level of infighting and lying. If true, the CIA is in for more trouble.
