IRAQ WAR: Civilian casualties - one incident

The posting on the shooting by US Marines of a car with women and children in it said ! "If a vehicle is approaching an obvious military checkpoint manned by heavily armed soldiers, it would be remarkably stupid for it not to slow down or stop if ordered". George Sassoon comments: "For all we know, the women in the car could have been ordered to sacrifice themselves and the children to create a propaganda 'atrocity'."
