Bienvenido Macario points out that "The musical version of Ecclesiastes Chapter 3, verses 1 to 8 was recorded and
performed by the musical group called the Bryds. For the song's lyrics, see the website
http://summer.com.br/~pfilho/html/main_index/. The words were adapted from the Book of Ecclesiastes by Pete Seeger,
who also wrote the music. It ends "A time to love, a time to hate, A time of peace, I swear it's not too late!" This
completely changes the meaning. From a justification of war, it becomes an appeal for peace.
