Red Mercury: three charged
Is red mercury a red herring? George Sassoon says: I see that three men have been charged under Section 17 of the British Terrorism Act 2000 with attempting to buy 'red mercury'. I have asked a lawyer friend if it is an adequate defence if they can prove that the substance doesn't exist. Not that I wish them to be acquitted of course. I shall follow progress of the case with interest. RH; George, please report back.
