9/11

From the UK, George Sassoon writes: This was sent to me by a German friend.  If you click on the link below, itgives evidence that what hit the Pentagon on 9/11 was not a 757, but some kind of smaller missile.  This is maybe something which WAIS experts  might be able to explain.

RH: Click below and check out this documentary. After the careful work done by the 9/11 Commnission, I find the allegations incredible, but who knows?

Hank Levin reports on the posting about 9/11 forwarded by George Sassoon: Two more mysteries.  What happened to the American flight and its passengers, if they did not reach their demise in this incident?  Who has invested so much in this expensive and professionally-done presentation on the website?

RH: Is it a group trying to discredit the 9/11 Commission? Puzzling.

Randy Black has traced the source of the weird 9/11 story: The site forwarded by George Sassoon has been around for more than a year. The link in that email from Mr. Sassoon’s German friend is actually a URL link that takes one to something called‘www.freedomunderground.org.’ A little further investigation found that the site is owned by a youngish looking guy (judging from his photo) named, Ross Hosman who makes his living as a tech support/web hosting type and who lives in an apartment near St. Louis, Missouri. The same fellow turns out is an organizer for the Libertarian Party, which has long advocated that 9-11 was a global conspiracy and mass murder conducted by President Bush and VP Cheney.

It is one of those conspiracy type sites that promotes nearly every possible alternative to the facts surrounding 9/-11, except the truth, and then asks the reader for a donation via MasterCard or Visa. The Hosman site further links to www.911review.org, which gets really nasty regarding who and why and when surrounding 9-11.

The site claims, for instance, that a missile hit the Pentagon despite the fact that a couple of hundred tons of Boeing 757 parts were extracted from the rubble. The site also claims that the Twin Towers were imploded by planted bombs, not due to any attack by jet aircraft and that the US government shipped the steel from the Twin Towers to India and China before it could be examined. Pretty funny stuff, huh? Funny until one considers that there are those poor gullible folks out there who will actually believe such rubbish.

RH: This shows how free speech and the internet can be abused. I do not like the Libertarian Party, but this makes it positively dangerous. Germans ridiculed Hitler until das Volk swallowed his propaganda, It is significant  that it was a German who called attention to the website. Worldwide there are many people who will believe any story critical of the US, and we should be aware of it.

Regarding the website raising doubts about the official version of 8/11, Mihai Nadin says: I prefer not to comment on the website. WAISers should, however, avoid discussing things out of context. Here are a few quotes (from an extremely verbose website) pertinent to the scenario suggested by the authors of this new interpretation of the attack on the Pentagon. "As a result of the upsurge in readers brought to the Signs of the Times page by our Flash animation on the Pentagon crash, we became very aware that many first time readers are somewhat surprised by the contents of the Signs of the Times,..." "We are neither liberal nor conservative, neither left nor right. We strive to present the news from the point of view of the Soul." "We think that there is an Ancient Tradition that has been passed down, sometimes coming out into the open, other times remaining hidden in the shadows, that teaches us how to master ourselves. Through this work, we can each "grow" a Soul. This work includes rooting out the programmes that have been instilled within us. It is aimed at reinforcing our Free Will so that we can see the manipulations of society for what they are and learn to avoid them. " I am all in favor of what we call freedom of _expression. But I am NOT in favor of discussing things which are not even worth mentioning.

RH: On the contrary. The questions raised by George Sassoon and Hank Levin are reasonable and important. What is the aim of  producing this scenario, however outrageous it may be?  Who put up the money?
